Alpagut martial art was created in Azerbaijan in 2013.
Alpaqut martial art is registered as a sport in the Republic of Azerbaijan with all legal procedures.
The name “Alpagut” belonging to the cultural heritage of the ancient Turkic peoples living in the great steppe, with the official permission document of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated October 14, 2014, the founder of this martial art, Nomadic and Turkic martial arts researcher, international sports master, It was given to the use of Kutsan Namazov Vasif Imran oglu.
In order to develop this sport in the international arena, the World Alpagut Federation (abbreviated WAF) was registered as an international sports organization on February 12, 2014.
