The 11th Congress was held on 2nd Nov. in Tashkent, the capital city of Uzbekistan. Present at the Congress were 87 participants including Prof. Ri Yong Son, President of the IMGC, Mr. Kim Myong Gun, Secretary General of the IMGC and EB members, representatives of International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF), World Karate Confederation founded by Fritz Wendland (WKC/FW), World Federation of Kowat Alrami and Self Defence (WFKA), International Jang San’ati Association (IJSA) and International Council of Sqay (ICS) and representatives of 14 NMGCs. Practical issues to further strengthening the IMGC activities including the amendments of Statutes, election of new leadership, appointment of Chairpersons of subcommittees and Presidents of NMGCs, examination on the International Martial Arts Organizations that applied for IMGC membership, decision on the host city of the 10th IMG were discussed at the Congress. The Congress appointed Chairpersons of subcommittees as under: - Ethics and Verification Commission: Prof. Dr Dato. Leong Wai Meng - Competition and Umpire Commission: Dr. Rajendran Balan - Information Commission: Mr. Antonio Krauss - Finance and Marketing Commission: Mr. Kim Yong Il - Mr. Zhasur Matyakubovich Matchanov was appointed to the post of the President of Uzbekistan National Martial Art Games Committee. The Congress approved associate membership status of International Council of Sqay, International Jang San’ati Association, Global Aerial Power Athletics Federation and International Jeet Kune Do Federation which applied for their affiliation while were withdrawed the membership status of Sports Jiu-Jitsu African Federation and World Union of TOA Associations to be disqualified. It also decided to hold the 10th IMG 2026 in Almaty, Kazakhstan together with World Cup Taekwon-Do Games.
