Jang San’ati, the term which signifies “martial art” in Uzbek, is a traditional martial art of Uzbekistan. Jang San’ati is divided into weapon and hand combat categories. It was widely used in the ancient war fields. Later, Jang San’ati was developed into a martial art sport and now became the most popular traditional martial art of Uzbekistan. Jang San’ati consists of 3 directions- fighting, competition of Timurids, demo show. The International Jang San’ati Association was founded in 2017 by a group of sports academics, professors, leading trainers and sports experts. Since its establishment, it has been a member of many international sports organizations of the world and regularly holds its competitions.
