Oriental is a comprehensive form of martial art which finds its origin in the Middle East. It began to develop in the middle of the last century in Hamadan in western Iran. The basis of the creation of the new one-to-one hand-to-hand fight was at the beginning the fighting styles of ancient Iran, such as the Kochiti martial art or Alak Dolac game, and it was also called ghost-fighting. Introduced into Oriental were the main technical methods of boxing and karate and those of wrestling and judo. Oriental consists of four categories: free fighting (mainly wrestling), mixed fighting for defence (security fight), free boxing (hitting fight), and mixed martial arts (selective fight).
