Jang San’ati, the term which signifies “martial art” in Uzbek, is a traditional martial art of Uzbekistan. Jang San’ati is divided into weapon and hand combat categories. It was widely used in the ancient war fields. Later, Jang San’ati was developed into a martial art sport and now became the most popular traditional martial art of Uzbekistan. Jang San’ati consists of 3 directions- fighting, competition of Timurids, demo show. The number of people interested in Jang San`ati is increasing year by year. This is due to his attractive exhibition performances, hand and foot kicks techniques, and rules of fighting that are not found in other sports.
